Heather has focused her career in commercial real estate since 1993, and has substantial experience managing client accounts comprised of complicated mixed use and new development portfolios. Heather also represents tenant retailers in their real estate and business matters, with a focus on restaurant operations. In addition, Heather handles business and property acquisitions and dispositions, and related real estate and corporate transactions. Prior to attending law school, Heather worked for a large real estate development company in Montgomery County, Maryland, handling, among other matters, due diligence and lease administration.

Heather graduated, magna cum laude, from The American University Washington College of Law in 2000, where she was awarded the Mussey Prize for attaining the highest scholastic average in her graduating class. While at WCL, she was invited to join The American University Law Review, participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic program, and received an award for her participation in the Women and International Human Rights program. Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, with distinction, in English and Communications, from the University of Maryland in 1993. Heather was named a 2009 and 2010 Rising Star by Maryland Super Lawyers magazine.
